FloziSurvey – Dokumentation
Erste Schritte
So bringst du deine erste Post-Purchase-Umfrage in wenigen Minuten live.
- Block im Checkout platzieren: Shopify-Admin → Einstellungen → Checkout → „Anpassen“ → Seite „Danke“ (Thank you) → „Block hinzufügen“ → FloziSurvey → Speichern.
- Testen: Eine Testbestellung aufgeben (z.
- Tabs: Auswertung (Verteilung, Durchschnitt), Erkenntnisse (Umsatz je Antwort, Attribution, Multi-Touch, Kundenwert), Antworten (Einzelantworten).
- Export: CSV-Exporte für Antworten, NPS und Attribution unterhalb der Auswertung.
Integrationen
- Webhook: URL eintragen, aktivieren, speichern, „Verbindung testen“.

FloziSurvey – Documentation
Post-purchase surveys for Shopify: customers answer one or more questions right on the checkout thank-you page. FloziSurvey ties every answer to the order and provides analytics, revenue attribution and exports.
Getting started
Get your first post-purchase survey live in a few minutes.
- Create a survey: via the setup wizard on first launch, or under Surveys → “Create survey” or from a template.
- Activate it: click “Activate” in the surveys list. One survey can be active at a time.
- Place the block in checkout: Shopify admin → Settings → Checkout → “Customize” → “Thank you” page → “Add block” → FloziSurvey → Save.
- Test it: place a test order (e.g. with the Bogus test gateway). The survey appears on the thank-you page; the response shows up under Responses.
Note: The setup checklist on the overview turns green once the block has been displayed in checkout for the first time.
Surveys & templates
Under Surveys you manage your surveys and find the template gallery below.
- Templates: clicking “Create survey” on a template creates a draft and opens the editor.
- Question types: multiple choice, dropdown, free text, NPS (0–10), rating (stars or 1–10 scale), yes/no.
- Answer options: stacked tiles — drag & drop to reorder, ✕ to remove, add new ones below. The order is used in checkout too.
- Required question: removes the “Skip” button in checkout. Customers are never blocked — the order is already complete.
- Thank-you text: shown on the thank-you page after the survey is answered.
- Targeting: show the survey only for a certain order value, country, or first-time buyers.
- Activate/pause: directly in the surveys list or in the editor.
Responses & analytics
The Responses tab shows orders with their survey answers and the full analytics below.
- Order list: default “With response” shows only answered orders; “All orders” includes those without. Search by order number or email.
- Question switcher: pick the question to analyze at the top — including questions from paused surveys.
- Date range: presets (Today, Last 30 days, …) or custom from/until dates, then “Apply”.
- Tabs: Analytics (distribution, average), Insights (revenue per answer, attribution, multi-touch, customer value), Responses (individual answers).
- Export: CSV exports for responses, NPS, and attribution below the analytics.
Integrations
All outbound connections live under Integrations. No customer names or email addresses are ever sent through integrations — only answers, order number, and metrics.
- API credential: “Create API credential” shows the Client ID and API token once. Send the token with every call as header “Authorization: Bearer <token>”. Base URL: https://flozisurvey-api.flozify.com/api/v1 — endpoints: /surveys, /responses, /summary (read-only).
- MCP (Claude / ChatGPT): “Create MCP URL” generates a URL you add as a custom connector. Your AI can then query surveys, responses, and metrics — read-only. The URL contains the token and is shown only once.
- Webhook: enter the URL, activate, save, “Test connection”. Every new response is sent as JSON — ideal for n8n, Make, or your own systems.
- Klaviyo: create a private API key in Klaviyo (the button takes you to the right page), paste, save, test. Responses are sent only for customers with marketing consent.
- Google Sheets: set up a small Apps Script as webhook receiver (the button opens Apps Script) and enter its URL.
- Revoke: a revoked API credential is invalid immediately — including its MCP URL.
UTM attribution (theme app embed)
Optional: an invisible app embed in your theme remembers UTM parameters from campaign links (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) and writes them to the order as hidden cart attributes. FloziSurvey can then attribute answers to the right campaign even when the purchase happens on a later visit. The thank-you page survey works without the embed.
- In FloziSurvey, go to Integrations and click “Activate in theme editor”. The theme editor opens directly at the app embed “FloziSurvey UTM attribution”.
- Switch the embed on. Optionally set how long campaigns are remembered (1–90 days, default 30). Confirm with “Save”.
- Manually: Online Store → Themes → Customize → “App embeds” on the left → switch on “FloziSurvey UTM attribution” → Save.
- Check: open your store with a link like …/?utm_source=test&utm_campaign=autumn, add a product to the cart and place an order. The values appear on the order and under Responses → Insights (Attribution – UTM).
- Privacy: the embed only runs after consent to analytics (Shopify cookie banner), stores the values in the visitor's browser and sends them only to your own Shopify cart. No third parties are called.
- Deactivate: switch it off in the theme editor under “App embeds”. When the app is uninstalled, Shopify removes the embed automatically.
Plan & order limit
Your plan is based on your shop's orders in the current 30-day cycle.
- Free: up to 50 orders per cycle. Pro: unlimited orders for $12 per month.
- Counting (Free only): orders are fetched live from Shopify — from 00:00 (shop time zone) on the cycle start day. Above the limit it shows “>50”. On Pro nothing is counted; it shows “Unlimited”.
- At 80 % of the limit a notice appears. If the limit is exceeded, surveys pause automatically until you upgrade to Pro.
- After 30 days a new cycle starts, the counter resets to 0, and paused surveys resume.
- Upgrade/downgrade: under Plan or Settings → Plan. Billing is handled by Shopify. On a downgrade to Free the counter starts fresh.
Privacy & uninstalling
FloziSurvey only processes what is needed for surveys and analytics.
- Customer data (name, email) is shown only inside the app and never passed to integrations.
- Personal references in older responses are removed automatically after the configured retention period — analytics are kept.
- Uninstall: Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → uninstall FloziSurvey. Your data is deleted after 48 hours in line with Shopify's requirements.
Help & support
Stuck? The fastest way is the support chat at the bottom right (Flozi). Or email us at service@flozify.com — please mention the app FloziSurvey and your shop domain so we can help quickly.
- Support chat: click the Flozi button at the bottom right. Flozi answers questions about the app and points to the right section of this documentation.
- Agent: use “Agent” in the chat header or “Contact the support team” below an answer to hand over to the support team. The reply appears in the same chat window.
- Feedback: thumbs up/down below an answer helps us improve Flozi.
Frequently asked questions
The survey does not show up in checkout.
Check three things: exactly one survey is active under Surveys. The FloziSurvey block is placed and saved on the thank-you page in the checkout editor. Your plan is not paused (notice on the overview). Targeting rules can also hide the survey for individual orders.
The order counter does not match my expectation.
All shop orders since 00:00 of the cycle start in your shop time zone are counted, not just answered ones. The cycle restarts on installation, on a plan change and every 30 days. On Pro nothing is counted.
Why do I see fewer orders under Responses than in the Shopify admin?
The default filter “With response” shows only orders with an answered survey. Switch to “All orders” to include the rest.
Can I see the API token again later?
No. Token and MCP URL are shown only once. If lost, create a new credential and revoke the old one.
Is customer data sent to integrations?
No. Integrations receive answers, order number and metrics, never names or email addresses. Klaviyo only receives answers from customers with marketing consent.
